The educational campaign, 'Conquering of the mind's battlefield' (CMB), aims to educate individuals between the ages of 16 and 24 of the logotherapy and give them the tools they need to overcome life’s struggles. Logotherapy, which is a form of psychotherapy, was a discipline created by Viktor E Frankl which stressed the importance of finding meaning in all life's circumstances, especially in tragic situations. This educational campaign aims to give individuals tools they need to take back control of their lives and look forward to their future.
Through this site, individuals can pace themselves through the 'Seven week program' which provides links, research and activities to help them apply the theory to their every day life. Also, the 'CMB blog' offers a forum where individuals can discuss their struggles with other participants, ask questions, and share tips, suggestions and resources which have been helpful to them.
The concept of logotherapy was chosen for the center stage of this educational campaign as it has helped the creator of the campaign to more quickly recover from 15 years of chronic depression. The author hopes that by imparting her new found know to individuals entering the struggles of the 'real world' after high school, she could reduce the culture shock and the suicide rates of this age group in Australia and around the world.
This campaign utilises an array of technologies which develop a platform which the targeted audience will be accustomed to and find attractive to participate in. It is believed that by having a combination of information and discussion boards, the learning objectives of the campaign will be fulfilled and the audience will gain the maximum benefits.
The author of this campaign wishes you all the best. May you live long and prosperous life.
